What we did in England - Day 4 - London
We were fortunate enough to get another sunny day in London, so we started the day with a walk through Hyde Park on the way to our breakfast spot.
Sunday morning in Hyde Park
Walking in lovely London
I had a lovely breakfast. Scrambled eggs, Avocado sandwich and smoked salmon. I also ordered a Belgian hot chocolate.
Being touristy in London
After breakfast, we went to Oxford street for some shopping. I got a few goodies at Primark and Forever 21.
After a few hours of shopping, we headed to a restaurant that I have wanted to visit for years. It is located in the Heron Tower near the Liverpool Street station and called Sushi Samba. The food and drinks were incredible, but the service was unfortunately very slow.
My food. This is their dish named Samba London and included crab, tuna, salmon, white fish, prawn, avocado, tempura crunch, rice cracker, Japanese pickles, wasabi mayo, aji panca, soy reduction. They served dishes for two people on the same plate.
Sushi Samba is famous for their good cocktails, so I had to have one. This is the best cocktail that I have had so far in 2017. It is called Lychee cooler and contains Grey Goose, St. Germain and vanilla sugar, shaken with lychee juice and coconut milk.
The bar at Sushi Samba
A great view.
After Sushi Samba, we went back to our hotel, said goodbye to two of our friends that were heading back to Oxford. Then we did some resting and packing at the hotel before going out for a drink.
Regent Street on a Sunday night.
Cocktails at Sketch, which is another really famous restaurant and bar in London.
The very special egg-bathroom.
Probably the most famous room in London on Instagram
